Slash commands
AI Slash Commands help you to move faster by asking Plain AI for writing help directly in the composer, with full context of the current support request.
How Slash Commands work
While writing in a support thread, type /
followed by a short instruction. Plain AI will process your prompt using the context of the thread – including the customer’s message and any prior conversation – and return a ready-to-edit draft.
You can use slash commands to:
Draft a brand new message
Edit something you’ve already written
Add to your message with more clarity, precision, or tone adjustments
Examples
Here are a few practical prompts to get you started:
– /fix typos
– /ask for a screenshot and workspace ID so we can debug
– /ask what version of the SDK they’re using
– /rephrase this to sound more helpful
– /summarise and confirm the issue before escalating
If your prompt isn’t relevant to the support conversation, you’ll get an error – so stay focused on the customer’s message when using commands.
